St Patrick Hockey Club caters for players of all levels and fields teams across all levels of the Hockey ACT competitions.

The club was founded in 1954 out of the youth club which was resident at St Patrick's in Braddon. The inspiration for the formation of the club being an enigmatic Irish priest named Father Benedict "Barney" Lynch who had been a Hurling player back in the old country before being introduced to Hockey while on a posting to Crookwell.

Since 1954 our club has grown to field teams across all the Hockey ACT competitions as well as having a strong presence in the numerous social competitions run in Canberra.
